My Dearest Wife
It is sometimes hard to explain to you just how much you really mean to me. I wish I could do this in person while holding you in my arms and looking into your beautiful eyes. But since we are physically separated by what seems to be miles of emptiness, the only way I can try to let you know is by letters such as this. My dearest Wife, I know it is difficult for you, I know it is for me, to be separated for so long. Life seems to be full of trials and torments which test our love and devotion for each other. They say that “True Love” is boundless and unlimited and that it will overcome adversity. In truth, my love is so genuine, and can only grow stronger with each assault. Our love has been assaulted many times recently. I do know that my love for you is so very true because the longer I am away from you, the greater is my craving to be with you again. Each day without you, there is that ache and emptiness in my heart. You are my soul-mate, and I am your devoted husband. I treasure all my thoughts of you, I prize all my memory’s of you and they are kept safe in the depths of my mind, the most happiest day in my life was the day We were married, and I now live for the day when our physical separation will no longer be.
