True Love Story
Life Together

One fine day, an old couple around the age of 70, walks into a lawyer’s office.

Apparently, they are there to file a divorce.

Lawyer was very puzzled, after having a chat with them, he got their story….
This couple had been quarreling all their 40 over yrs of marriage nothing ever seems to go right.

They hang on because of their children, afraid that it might affect their up-bringing. Now, all their children have already grown up, have their own family, there’s nothing else the old couple have to worry about, all they wanted is to lead their own life free from all these years of unhappiness from their marriage, so both agree on a divorce….

Lawyer was having a hard time trying to get the papers done, because he felt that after 40 yrs of marriage at the age of 70, he couldnt understand why the old couple would still want a divorce..

While they were signing the papers, the wife told the husband..
“I really love u, but i really cant carry on anymore, I’m sorry..”
“Its o.k, i understand..” said the husband. Lookin at this, the lawyer suggested a dinner together, just 3 of them, wife thought, why not, since they are still gonna be friends..

At the dining table, there was a silence of awkardness.
The first dish was roasted chicken, immediately, the old man took the drumstick for the old lady..”take this, its your favourite..”

Looking at this, the lawyer thought maybe theres still a chance, but the wife was frowning when she answer..”
This is always the problem, you always think so highly of yourself, never thought about how I feel, dont you know that i hate drumsticks?”

Little did she know that, over the years, the husband have been trying all ways to please her, little did she know that drumsticks was the husband’s favourite. Little did he know that she never thought he understand her at all, little did he know that she hates drummsticks even though all he wants is the best for her.

That night, both of them couldnt sleep, toss and turn, toss and turn…after hours, the old man couldnt take it anymore, he knows that he still loves her, and he cant carry on life without her, he wants her back, he wants to tell her, he is sorry, he wanted to tell her “i love you”…

He picks up the phone, starting dialing her number….ringing never stops..he never stop dialing….

On the other side, she was sad, she couldn’t understand how come after all these years, he still doesnt understand her at all, she loves him a lot, but she just cant take it anymore….phone’s ringing, she refuses to answer knowing that its him…”whats the point of talking now that its over…i have ask for it and now i wanna keep it this way, if not i will lose face..”she thought…still ringing…she have decided to pull out the cord…

Little did she remember, he have heart problems…

The next day, she received news that he had passed away…she rushed down to his apartment, saw his body, lying on the couch still holding on to the phone…he had a heart attack when he was still trying to get through her phone line….

As sad as she could be…she will have to clear his belongings…when she was looking thru the drawers, she saw this insurance policy, dated from the day they got married, with the beneficiary being her… And together in those file, there was this note…

“To my dearest wife, by the time you’re reading this, I’m sure I’m no longer around, I bought this policy for you, though the amount is only $100k, I hope it will be able to help me continue my promise that i have made when we got married, I might not be around anymore, I want this amount of money to continue taking care of you, just like the way I will if I could have live longer. I want you to know Iwill always be around, by your side… I love you”

Tears flowed like river……

“When you love someone, let them know… You never know what will happen the next minute…. Learn to build a life together.. Learn to love each other. For who they are.. not what they are…

The only word I cannot say by Allison Bright

Posted on Saturday 12 September 2009

The only word I cannot say

I miss my friend
O so much

I miss his sweet
and gentle touch

He’d run his fingers
through his hair

If people laughed
He didn’t care

He was cool
But I was not

He said someday
We’d tie the knot

I wish he’d hold me
and hug me tight

Squeeze me dearly
With all his might

But as he lay
on that hospital bed

They said we’re sorry
Ma’am he’s dead

As the tears filled my eyes
I want to run away and hide

I don’t believe you
You’re lying I said

I placed my hand
upon his head

We’re sorry ma’am
We really are

It looks like his cancer’s
gone to far

I put my hand
into his

He squeezed right back
I know he did

The monitor beeped
and the line became squiggly

He whispered to me
I love you so dearly

Then the beep was really long
That’s how I knew he was gone

Even now
Still today

Cancer is the only word
I cannot say

Especially for you my lovely wife

*CLICK TO PLAY*kylie minogue & jason donovan – especially for you

I couldn’t sleep so I had to come down and write this letter. I just cant stop thinking about you, the thought of you is going around my head all the time, I know there isn’t much we can do against what sometimes seems an ocean of distance between us. And No matter what happens and how long we will still have to be apart, you will always be deep within my heart for eternity. You never seem to leave my thoughts, you are my constant memory, and you are one half of the soul that merges with mine to create the passion that is in my heart and in my body. Now and forever you will have my eternal love, all I want is to feel your head on my shoulder, my arms wrapped around you. You my dearest wife have the loveliest and most beautiful face, body and mind any man could ever wish for. Although you are not here, I will always continue to see your smile within my dreams. I miss you so very much Kate, My dear, lovely, dearest wife. When I miss you like I do, it is something I just can´t explain properly. and being a very painful consequence of love, it may even be harder to describe than love itself…
When I miss you Kate it is the desire to be close, to see and touch you. Its can be a painful feeling full of emptiness as though your heart has gone. It´s also a wish to repeat certain moments that we have had. Like the money log, or that happiest day of my life, when you became my wife. And to replay these situations that uplifted our souls when we were together. You know how much your presence has always calmed and, at the same time, cheered my body and soul. To the point were without you there with me, I just don’t seem to settle down and sleep at night. I want to tell you how good it makes me feel to have your skin close to mine, to hold your lovely hands, to feel you breath on my face and to look into your eyes. I miss the simple things. Yet, simple as they may be, they can only come true when you are near. I hope it won´t be long before I can experience those pleasant feelings once again.

Love you for now and eternity

Your loving Husband

The Gray One by James A. Kisner

Posted on Tuesday 8 September 2009

The Gray One by James A. Kisner

He sat and watched the sparrows play…around the feeders there.

His wife had loved those little birds…but now he didn’t care.

She always kept the feeders full…and birds would flock around,

And squirrels would eat the bigger seeds…that fell upon the ground.

It seemed those little birds would wait…for her at first sunlight,

He thought they must have slept…in all the bushes within sight.

But yesterday he buried her…his wife of thirty years,

And now alone he watches them…and tries to hold back tears.

He doesn’t want to feed the birds…the feeders have run dry,

But all the birds still flock around…and he just wonders why?

He doesn’t want to start with it…he’ll probably take them down,

He really doesn’t care right now…if they don’t come around.

So, day by day he sits and stares…beyond the feeding place,

So far into the distance…in another time and space.

And, one by one the sparrows leave…but one still comes each day,

It’s different from the other ones…one wing is colored gray.

Then each day as the days went by…the little bird was there,

The feeders were all empty…but he didn’t seem to care.

The sparrow sat upon the perch…and seemed to look at him,

He sat about an hour…then he flew away again.

He wondered if that little bird…had been her favorite,

Because there was no food for him…but there he still would sit.

So he went to the garden shed…to try to find some seed,

He thought if just a handful…he knew that was all he’d need.

He found a bag within a plastic pail….that she had kept,

And as he thought about his wife…he just sat there and wept.

He thought again, she loved those birds…but now they were all gone,

Except the little gray-winged one…he was a hanger-on.

So everyday he took some seed…just enough for one,

And watched until the little bird…had eaten and was gone.

Then he took the extra seed…that remained on the tray,

And saved it to use once again…for him the following day.

He wondered where the bird would go…each day when it was fed,

It never hung around the bushes…it flew off instead.

Then weeks went by and everyday…the little bird would come,

And leave and fly away again…the minute he was done.

But then one day it didn’t come…and then a week went by,

He thought it must had flown away… some place where it could die.

He knew something had happened…when the sparrow didn’t come,

So then he took the feeders down…his feeding days were done.

There was a bag of seed left…in the little garden shed,

He put it in his car trunk…knowing that the bird was dead.

He’d take it to his sister…who had feeders at her place,

To throw it in the garbage…would seem such a total waste.

Then early Sunday morning…he arose before the dawn,

To visit his wife’s resting place…and manicure the lawn.

He always took some flowers…and would place them by her stone,

He felt she knew that he did not…just leave her all alone.

It seemed like such a lonely place…when he would visit there,

And he knew that she never liked…to be alone somewhere.

Then as he parked his car to walk…to where his wife did rest,

As always fighting back the tears…he tried to do his best.

But through his tears he saw the grave…and then he had a thought,

Remembering the bird seed…and he whispered, “Oh, why not?”

He went and got the bag of seed…and spread some on her place,

And as he did he hoped his friends…would not think it disgrace.

But as he did, he thought the birds…would also come again,

And then his lovely wife would be…surrounded by her friends.

He thought he’d do this everyday…he knew she wouldn’t mind,

He loved his wife so very much…and she would think this kind.

So as he spread the seed about…he knew her friends would come,

And he would bring the seed to them…until his days were done.

And then he’d tell his children…when beside her he would lay,

To bring the seeds and feed her friends…just as he did today.

But as he stood and watched for birds…behind an old oak tree,

His eyes began to tear again…at what he now did see.

A little bird, the first to come…to get some seed that day,

A little sparrow and it had…a wing the color gray.

DADDY WANTS TO COME HOME

********************************

Tell me when I can come home dear,

I am tired and I want to be with you.

I have been gone it feels like a year,

When I’m not with you I feel so blue,

<—————————————–>

Do you remember the days hand in hand,

and when we used to cuddle each night,

whenever I eat now it tastes so bland,

Want to come back home where it feels so right,

<—————————————–>

Do you remember all the good times,

I would love to hold you ever so tight,

who can it be that has done these crimes,

Want to come back home where it feels so right,

<—————————————–>

Do you remember that day on the log,

the children were playing such a delight,

you would say that I had a mouth like a frog,

want to come back home where it feels so right,

<—————————————–>

Do you remember that april day what a sight,

That whole day with you it was just right,

You looked radiant all dressed in white,

Want to come back home where it feels so right,

<—————————————–>

Do you remember al the plans that we made,

My love for you is so right that we will reunite,

When we went out we would drink lemonade,

Want to come back home where it feels so right,

<—————————————–>

Tell me when I can come home dear wife,

I am tired and I just want to be with you.

When will this be over to restart our life,

All the love that i have for you is so true,

I miss you so much

My dearest wife

I love you so very very much, far more than I could explain in these letters. And right now I am missing you so much it hurts, and I will miss you for every second while you are gone, with all my heart and more. Each and every day I dream about that day, the day that I will always be with you again, and then we will have a new dream a dream one where I can make your dreams come true. But for now I can only dream about seeing you. The pain I have without you is so hard to bear, it feels as though my heart has been pulled out of my chest and is no longer there, I feel lost and alone, since that day in July my whole world is upside down and inside out. It feels like an eternity since we were living together as we should. Each and every day my eyes cry just to see you, my lips hunger for the taste of your lips, my arms long to hold you tight and pull you close to me and my heart how it does ache for you.

From that first moment we met I was caught in your spell, I thought you looked amazing, there you were this beautiful girl, but yet so sad with tears in your eyes that night. I wanted to hold you then you know, to make the tears go away, to make you smile.

It did not take long for me to realize that you were the one that I had been searching for all my life. The one I need right to the end. Being in love with you has changed my life. Just ask anyone who knew me before. And as each day comes and goes you mean more and more to me. Our life together is very special and I would not change it for anything in the world. Who needs riches when I have you? With you I am the richest man in the world. Together we make up a family that I am proud of. When you tell me that you love me it feels so good, there is no feeling as good as knowing that you love me or as precious as each second that we get to spend together nor as incredible as spending all night long with you wrapped so tight in my arms, just to wake to that beautiful smile of yours. You really are the girl of all my dreams and to have you in my life makes me the luckiest man alive. In you I have found my best friend, my lover, my soul mate, my wife. I need you, I want you, I love you, and this will never change for the rest of my life. I miss you so much just now, I can’t describe how much I miss being with you. Sometimes when I miss you like this I close my eyes and try to imagine you near to me.

I look forward to that special day yet to come, the day where that one hello will last a lifetime and I can forget about the goodbyes that are so painful. That day when we will become a family again, never to be parted. I love you so very much my dear wife.

All my love now and forever

You’ll Be In My Heart Lyrics by Phill Collins

Posted on Sunday 6 September 2009

Come stop your crying, it will be all right
Just take my hand, hold it tight
I will protect you from all around you
I will be here dont you cry

For one so small, you seem so strong
My arms will hold you keep you safe and warm
This bond between us cant be broken
I will be here dont you cry

And youll be in my heart
Yes, youll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more
Youll be in my heart
No matter what they say
Youll be here in my heart
Always

Why cant they understand the way we feel
They just dont trust what they cant explain
I know were different but deep inside us
Were not that different at all

And youll be in my heart
Yes, youll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more
Youll be in my heart
No matter what they say
Youll be here in my heart
Always

Dont listen to them, cause what do they know
We need each other, to have and to hold
Theyll see in time, I know

When destiny calls you, you must be strong
I may not be with you, but you gotta hold on
Theyll see in time, I know

Well show them together cuz…

Youll be in my heart
I believe, youll be in my heart
Ill be there from this day on
Now and forever more

Youll be in my heart
No matter what they say
Youll be here in my heart always

Always…
Ill be with you
Ill be there for you always
Always and always
Just look over your shoulder
Just look over your shoulder
Just look over your shoulder
Ill be there always

My dearest wife

You are the girl I have been waiting for all my life, that other half that we all search for.

While we are apart, I sit here and remember all the time we have had together. That first time we met, when you were crying, the first time we hugged, do you remember? In the back doorway. Not sure if it counts though as were not together then. Do you remember when we first kissed? It’s hard waking up each morning and not being able to look into your eyes, not being able to move your hair away from your face so that i can give you that first kiss of the day. Saying I love you to you as we open our eyes. To squeeze you tight with my arms, and have you rest your head on my chest listening to my heart as it beats to you, I love you. I keep you close within my heart and like my heart you are apart of me, you make my heart fill with pleasure just in knowing you exist. You are the reason I need to live, my words can’t even begin to describe the feelings I hold inside my heart for you. All of my hopes and dreams came true when I met you. You can make the darkest days fill with light just from your smile. Every moment of my life is so special because of you. I love being with you so much, every waking hour because matter what we do or where go, I am always having a good time while we are together. I never knew anyone I felt happier with and I am really glad you are my wife. With you I know I have truly found someone I can share my whole life with, now and forever

Love you with all my heart forever in sickness and in health

With you in my heart by Mick Jennings

Posted on Saturday 5 September 2009

With you in my heart, my life is complete,

You’re the air that I breathe and the food that I eat.

You are my soul mate, the beat in my heart,

It feels like a year each second we’re apart.

With you in my heart I’m walking on air,

I can imagine your perfume and the touch of your hair.

Your beautiful eyes, so kind and so green,

The loveliest sight I ever have seen.

With you in my heart, I am brim full of pride,

It’s as though i can achieve anything with you by my side.

You’re my rock, you?re my angel, my one true love,

You’re my present from heaven, my gift from above.

With you in my heart, I love you so much,

How caring you are, my soul you do touch.

You’re a beautiful princess, a pleasure to know,

My love for you just continues to grow.

With you in my heart, I’m the happiest man on earth,

I feel God has planned this since the day of my birth.

I could never love anyone the way I love you,

I hope and I pray that you feel the same way too.

With you in my heart, through the good and the bad,

I’ll be there when you need me, when you’re hurting or sad.

In fact I’ll be there for you any night, any day,

Whenever you need me, you just have to say.

With you in my heart, it really makes my day,

With the things that you do and the things that you say.

You and Eva deserve happiness and I will ensure,

From now, only good times come knocking at your door.

With you in my heart, I hope it feels good,

And that I am caring for you the way that I should.

I will always be happy, just by the love that you give,

I will protect you and love you for as long as I live.

The Rose a love story about 2 choices

Posted on Saturday 5 September 2009

John Blanchard stood up from the bench, straightened his Army uniform, and studied the crowd of people making their way through Grand Central Station. He looked for the girl whose heart he knew, but whose face he didn’t, the girl with the rose. His interest in her had begun thirteen months before in a Florida library. Taking a book off the shelf he found himself intrigued, not with the words of the book, but with the notes penciled in the margin. The soft handwriting reflected a thoughtful soul and insightful mind.

In front of the book, he discovered the previous owner’s name, Miss Hollis Maynell. With time and effort he located her address. She lived in New York City. He wrote her a letter introducing himself and inviting her to correspond. The next day he was shipped overseas for service in World War II

During the next year and one-month the two grew to know each other through the mail. Each letter was a seed falling on a fertile heart. A Romance was budding. Blanchard requested a photograph, but she refused. She felt that if he really cared, it wouldn’t matter what she looked like.

When the day finally came for him to return from Europe, they scheduled their first meeting – 7:00 pm at Grand Central Station in New York.

“You’ll recognize me, ” she wrote, “by the red rose I’ll be wearing on my lapel.” So at 7:00 he was in the station looking for a girl whose heart he loved, but whose face he’d never seen.

I’ll let Mr. Blanchard tell you what happened: A young women was coming toward me, her figure long and slim. Her blonde hair lay back in curls from her delicate ears; her eyes were blue as flowers. Her lips and chin had a gentle firmness, and in her pale green suit she was like springtime come alive. I started toward her, entirely forgetting to notice that she was not wearing a rose. As I moved, a small, provocative smile curved her lips. “Going my way, sailor?” she murmured. Almost uncontrollably I made one step closer to her, and then I saw Hollis Maynell. She was standing almost directly behind the girl. A women well past 40, she had graying hair tucked under a worn hat. She was more than plump, her thick-ankled feet thrust into low-heeled shoes. The girl in the green suit was walking quickly away. I felt as though I split in two, so keen was my desire to follow her, and yet so deep was my longing for the women whose spirit had truly companioned me and upheld my own

And there she stood. Her pale, plump face was gentle and sensible, her gray eyes had a warm and kindly twinkle. I did not hesitate. My fingers gripped the small worn blue leather copy of the book that was something precious, something perhaps even better than love, a friendship for which I had been and must ever be grateful.

I squared my shoulders and saluted and held out the book to the women, even though while I spoke I felt choked by the bitterness of my disappointment. “I’m Lieutenant John Blanchard, and you must be Miss Maynell. I am so glad you could meet me; may I take you to dinner?”

The women’s face broadened into a tolerant smile. “I don’t know what this is about, son,” she answered, “but the young lady in the green suit who just went by, she begged me to wear this rose on my coat. And she said if you were to ask me out to dinner, I should go and tell you that she is waiting for you in the big restaurant across the street. She said it was some kind of test!”

It’s not difficult to understand and admire Miss Maynell’s wisdom. The true nature of a heart is seen in it’s response to the unattractive.
